The Hatchery was acquired in 2018 by two local friends, Patrick Bradshaw and Charlie Sandy. It was originally built as a Poultry Farm with the “Clocktower” serving as the site manager’s office. At the time it was a rundown industrial estate, with the buildings in poor condition. Over the last few years, the brilliant team have repaired the old timber-framed buildings, cleared the vegetation and created a very happy and peaceful place.
The aim was to create a friendly meeting place focused on Wellness and Creativity and they have been incredibly lucky to attract many amazing local businesses who make The Hatchery such a happy experience.
For the new website, the Hatchery team wanted a fun and friendly flagship video which could autoplay at the top of the page, demonstrating the wealth of companies that inhabit the site and how nice it is to visit. Businesses on the site include The Grain Store Café, The Atrium, Sole Pilates, Lisa Jayne Art Studio, Legion Fitness Equipment, Beat Fitness, Egg Box Storage, and Bulb Hair and Health.
At each location around the site, we aimed to capture bright, flowing shots of the architecture and surroundings, as well as several staged shots with volunteers to add some action and show the businesses in action.
