“Unexplored Films have been an absolute pleasure to work with on our video which serves as the perfect slick centrepiece to our crowdfunding campaign.” – Hire Space
HIRE SPACE is an international venue-hiring company who needed to generate serious interest for their crowdfunding campaign. We made them a film which they used to generate £500,000 of investment.
We also made this film to specifically showcase some of their most exciting venues – they include Great Fosters in Egham, the Macdonald Bear Hotel in Woodstock, the Banking Hall in Cornhill, the Victorian Bath house in Liverpool Street, Grange St Paul’s in London, Ugly Duck in London Bridge, Lumiere in Borough, Stationers’ Hall in St Paul’s, and Kensington Palace in Hyde Park.
At each venue we visited, first we ensured we captured some beautiful wide angles of the spaces, to get a potential viewer thinking about guest capacity. We completed most of these shots with our trusty camera slider, with an occasional arial shot when it felt like the venue could benefit from it.
Next we would usually switch to a longer lens and capture details such as laid table or a particular piece of furniture, so show the venue’s texture and atmosphere. These were usually done on a gimbal, a tabletop dolly, or the slider.
When edited together, we also added name captions to each section to show where each venue was, and also added a few statistics about the number of venues Hire Space has.
